September  01-15, 2019

Dewan Public School, Hapur observed Swachhata  Pakhwada during September 01-15 and carried out a series of programmes on cleanliness.  

As per the guidelines by CBSE, the said programme commenced with Swachhata Shapath in Morning Assembly.

Most of the activities undertaken were at class-room level Therefore almost all the students participated in them.

The Personal Hygiene Day for girls had a special session for girls addressed by the Chairman Mr. Deen Dayal Agarwal , and his team from CSR Research Foundation, New Delhi.   

School doctor Poonam Grover addressed the students of VI-VII emphasizing the habits of hygiene practices.

Hand Wash day was conducted in the classes NUR - V and the students were made aware of the harmful effects of keeping long nails and dirty hands.

The primary classes planted the saplings in the school premises. They enjoyed it and learnt to love and save the plants and the significance of the trees on Earth.

The students from classes VI – VIII had a school March in the city in collaboration with Municipal corporation, Hapur.

Likewise, the students enthusiastically participated in Quiz on Health and Environment, Slogan writing, Painting, Letter Writing, Exhibition displaying items they prepared during the two weeks, such as dustbins, brooms, charts, and photos as a glimse of Swachhta Pakhwada.

Finally, Swachhta Pakhwada came to an end with Prize Distribution in which 62 students from class Nur – XII were awarded for their significant contribution.
